Students and parents sign up when they can see what a class is like, who teaches it and when it runs. Post your timetable, your teachers and real student progress, and make the first step easy: a trial class, a placement, a term start date. Three feed posts a week plus Stories from today's classes works for most studios, academies and tuition centres.
What to post: 5 content pillars
- Timetable and terms. What runs when, by level, and when the next term starts.
- Teachers. Who teaches, their training, and how they teach, in their own words.
- Student work. A recital clip, a first DJ mix, a swim badge, a finished drawing, always with consent.
- Inside a class. What actually happens in the first ten minutes, so newcomers know what to expect.
- Tips. One chord, one stretch, one study habit, taught by your teacher.
How often to post
Three feed posts a week, with the timetable at the start of every week. Post a new term three to four weeks before it starts, then a reminder a week before and a last call.
Use Stories daily if you can: today's classes, a rehearsal, a substitute teacher. Post holiday programmes about three weeks before school breaks.
An example week
A sample week for a dance or music academy. A tuition centre can swap the performance for a study tip or a revision timetable.
- Mon
Timetable. This week's classes by level, as a carousel.
- Tue
Teacher spotlight. One teacher: their training, their style, why they teach.
- Wed
Tip. One move, one chord or one exam habit as a short clip.
- Thu
Student work. A short performance or a finished piece, with consent.
- Fri
First class. What to wear or bring, and how trials or placements work.
- Sat
Stories. Today's classes and a look behind the scenes at a rehearsal.
- Sun
Term reminder. Dates for the next term or holiday programme, and how to register.
Photo tips with a phone
- Children only with a parent's or guardian's written consent. Never pair a child's face with their full name, school or neighbourhood.
- Shoot from the side or the back of the room so students are not posing for you.
- Open the blinds and use the brightest corner of the studio. At a pool, shoot with the sun behind you.
- For music and dance, record close to the source, and check the music is allowed on the platform.
- Swim schools and dance studios: show safe practice, with a teacher in frame and the right gear.
Captions, hashtags and being found locally
Say the class, the age or level, the day and time, then how to register. Write "beginners welcome" only if the class really suits beginners. Many families read more than one language, so keep the timetable and term dates bilingual if your students do.
Hashtags: the activity with your area (#swimschooltoronto, #djacademydubai, #balletclassesmanchester, #tuitionkl), the style or syllabus, and your name. Keep your Google Business Profile hours right, including school holiday timetables: parents search for classes nearby.
Seasons and holidays to plan for
School dates differ by country and often by region, so check your local school calendar. The Malaysian dates below are from the Ministry of Education's 2026 calendar; festival dates are from our holiday posting guide. Lunar, Hindu and Islamic calendar dates move every year, and Eid depends on the moon sighting.
- School holidays (summer in the US, Canada and the UK; in Malaysia, 4 to 31 Dec 2026 in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu and 5 to 31 Dec elsewhere): holiday camps and intensives, posted three to four weeks before the break.
- New school year (late August or September in the US, Canada and the UK; early January 2027 in Malaysia): new timetables and trial classes from three to four weeks before.
- New Year (January): fresh starts. Beginner courses and taster classes from the last week of December.
- Lunar New Year and Ramadan (6 Feb, from about 8 Feb 2027): holiday timetable, and class times moved around iftar.
- Eid, Christmas and other holidays (Eid about 10 Mar 2027, confirm locally; 25 Dec 2026): closure dates and a "classes are back" post.
- International Dance Day (29 Apr), International Day of Yoga (21 Jun), World Teachers' Day (5 Oct, with local Teachers' Days on other dates): a showcase, a thank-you, an open class.
Rules for classes and studios
- Consent for every student. Written, specific to social media and easy to withdraw. For under-18s, from a parent or guardian.
- No guaranteed results. Never "guaranteed A", "fluent in 3 months" or "pass your grade exam guaranteed". Describe the class, not an outcome.
- Real results only. Exam results and awards only with the student's (and parent's) permission, and without implying every student will get them.
- Real credentials. List only qualifications and syllabus affiliations your teachers and school actually hold.
- Safety on camera. Every clip shows safe practice. Never film children in the water without a teacher in charge.
How Suara does this for you
Suara builds a week of posts every week from your real photos of classes, teachers and student work, in your studio's look and voice, with Stories made from them. Your own video clips can be carousel slides and Stories. Captions can be in whatever language your students and parents read, or a mix.
You approve or change each post in a chat with your own assistant, and nothing is posted until you say yes. Once approved, we post it for you on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Rules like "never show a child's full name" are kept as brand memory. Every Sunday a weekly report shows how each post did.
Questions
Can I post photos of children in class?
Yes, with written consent from a parent or guardian, and nothing that shows where the child lives or studies. Many studios ask at registration and keep a list of who said no.
How early should I post a new term or holiday programme?
Three to four weeks before a new term, then a reminder a week before and a last call. Holiday programmes about three weeks before the school break.
What if a student's performance did not go well?
Post only what the student is happy with. Progress is worth sharing; an awkward moment is not. Ask first, every time.
